Seeing Old Dhaka anew
Seeing Old Dhaka anew
We know Nawab Sirajuddaula throughout the entire existence of the last autonomous Nawab of Bengal. Nobody else saw me now. 🤣
Voyaging autonomously solo in the back streets of Dhaka city is an old propensity for the Nawab. This propensity was lethargic for quite a while. Today, unexpectedly, to discover time, I went alone looking for the custom and culture of old Dhaka.
First the excursion began from Gulistan. I raced to Sadarghat in a pony drawn carriage.
Before Sadarghat, close to Banglabazar, there is the acclaimed "Excellence Boarding" called Addakhana. At that point on the east side of Sadarghat there are Lalkuthi and Ruplal House. Bibi Ka Rawza towards Shampur somewhat ahead.
Seeing these, I ventured west of Sadarghat. I strolled around the vegetable market. I saw Casa metal utensils loaded up with a large number of long stretches of Bengali custom. Then, there are numerous anonymous old houses I was stunned to see these and continued considering what this Dhaka city resembled during the British standard. I saw the old Kali Mandir and Islampur police station. At that point forward to Ahsan Manzil. For the present, the visit is finished. In any case, I need to walk more. I began strolling towards Babubazar along the waterway street. Colossal enormous natural product stockroom. I abandoned the neighborhood and unfamiliar products of various hues and went to Shaista Khan Mosque. I strolled around the little mosque and advanced home. It took me around 3/4 hours to make this entire excursion. Also, absolutely by walking. In old Dhaka, it is hard to drive a vehicle and regardless of whether there is a gridlock, the cart may need to sit for hours.Alhamdulillah I saw a ton and took in a great deal. These were the places of interest in the eastern piece of old Dhaka. One more day I will go west. 😍
Each spot is depicted independently in the image. On the off chance that you need to know independently, you can remark. Anybody from outside Dhaka can contact.
Old mosque Shaista Khan
Old mosque. It is said that the mosque was fabricated when Shaista Khan previously came to Dhaka as a subedar. In the wake of coming to Dhaka city as a subedar of Shaista Khan, he developed different structures just as structures and mosques in the Midford zone for his own remain. The little mosque called Shaista Khan Mosque is additionally situated behind the Burford River behind the Midford Hospital. At the point when the mosque torched in the mid twentieth century, it was reconstructed.
